Our colleagues in Indonesia today placed a giant KFC french fries holder, with the words “KFC Junking the Jungle”, in the center of a recently destroyed peatland forest area in Senepis, Rokan Hilir, Riau Province. Activists in tiger costumes lay ‘dead’ in front of the packaging to illustrate the continuing destruction of their habitat in peatland forests.
